Safety

Closed-toed shoes are a requirement. Anyone who is throwing axes or watching from the lanes is required to wear closed toed shoes.
Dress comfortably!

Our youngest throwers must be 13 years of age! Anyone between the ages of 13-17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

No. For liability and safety reasons you may not bring your own hatchet. Really cool axes will be provided for you.

The saying goes, “what are friends for?,” but in this instance it’s “what are Axeperts for?” Your axepert will be nearby to help you through safety measures and throwing techniques. Don’t be afraid to ask!

Yes, we do – in a very structured and safe environment. Axeperts are attending lanes and helping guests at all times. Safety is our number one priority. It is possible to have SAFE fun.

Hospitality

Yes, we do! They make the best gifts. 

Our gift certificates for axe throwing can be purchased online. Gift certificates purchased through Xola may only be used toward axe-throwing experiences. Xola gift cards may not be used at the bar or for merchandise. 

No, sorry. Guests are not able to bring in their own alcohol. For your convenience, there is a bar conveniently located next to the axe throwing lanes.
The Chopping Block staff members reserve the right to refuse alcohol sales to any individual who is visibly intoxicated upon your arrival or during your time at The Chopping Block.

YES, BYOF! We encourage you to bring your own food or order delivery/DoorDash from one of our awesome local restaurants!
*We do not supply utensils.
*Please be courteous and respectful by cleaning up your area before leaving.

reservations

Though not required, reservations are highly recommended! Walk-ins will be accommodated upon availability.

On average, our group size is 8 BUT we can accommodate 70 throwers at one time!

All reservations require a $25 deposit upon booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule your reservation, as long as you give us 24 hours notice, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to your new reservation. If your reservation is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, your deposit is forfeited

Private events require a 5 day notice of cancellation in order to receive a full or partial refund.

Thursdays & Fridays: 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
Saturdays – 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. 
Sundays – 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
